Matthew Banks is the star of "Billy Joel Retrospect", a show he created as the ultimate performance to honor one of the most iconic artists and his music. As one of the stars of Las Vegas’ Blue Man Group, Matthew is an incredible seasoned performer who is at home on major stages. He has toured the world, performing for stadium audiences, sold-out casinos, intimate private events, and even for the Queen of England. In ‘Billy Joel Retrospect’, Banks unleashes his passion and showcases his incredible vocal and instrumental prowess. Talk about a crowd-pleaser – EVERYONE has a Billy Joel song (or 10) that they sing along to; songs that feel like soundtracks to their own life.

This audience-focused, sing-along show can be structured and scaled to fit any event. Matthew can play it straight or add costume elements to further invoke Mr. Joel. Incorporating videos of Billy Joel’s own words and insights brings a deeper more intimate perspective of his iconic songs. Matthew can perform “unplugged” or with tracks, or with a local backup band with provided charts.
